THE TEAM

OUR YOUTH THEATRE...

...has entered the National Youth Theatre Shell Connections Event for several years and the group has appeared at The National. Pictured is our 2005 entry 17 by Michael Gow.

ROY PALMER

TEAM LEADER

As the founding member of the group, having established it 1991 Roy brings over 30 years of experience to the Youth Theatre. Having directed over 50 productions on both the amateur and professional stage, Roy has guided and nurtured youth drama at Hall Green with dedication which has, not surprisingly led to the group to appearing at the National Theatre. Roy is an active member of the theatre, serving on its council and interests include engineering and photography.

DARREN JONES

DRAMA ASSISTANT

Darren works as a English and Drama teacher and has been with the group for four years. He brings to the Youth Theatre education skills which go hand-in-hand with theatre teaching and discipline. He has directed for the group and recently performed alongside the Youth Theatre in Street Child.
